Final Stats

INDIANAPOLIS - The Green Bay women's tennis team's upset run to the Horizon League title ended Saturday, as the Phoenix lost to No. 4 seed Cleveland State 4-0 in the quarterfinal round of the 2008 Horizon League Championship.

Green Bay will now face instate rival Milwaukee Saturday at 4 p.m. EST in the 5th place contest. No. 6 seeded UWM lost to Detroit 4-1 Saturday morning.

Cleveland State dominated throughout, as the Vikings claimed the doubles point to start and then were victorious at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to advance to face top-seeded UIC. Green Bay's top three singles players did not finish.

Emily Lawent battled tough at No. 1 singles, as her match just concluded the first set before the match was decided.
