Women's Soccer Coach Ross' Contract Not Renewed
Nov. 8, 2007
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Quinn Ross, the head coach of the Green Bay women's soccer team, will not have his contract renewed and will be relieved of his coaching duties, Director of Athletics Ken Bothof announced today. A national search for Ross' replacement will begin immediately. "I want to thank Quinn for his time, effort and dedication to Green Bay Athletics for the past 16 years," said Bothof. "With the completion of the Kress Events Center and the success enjoyed by many of our programs, it is an exciting time for Green Bay Athletics. I believe this program has tremendous potential and we are confident we will find a coach who will be the right fit for our women's soccer program." Ross completed his 12th season as the women's soccer team's head coach and 16th year in the Green Bay athletics department. As the women's soccer head coach, Ross posted a 67-141-13 record. Ross also served as an assistant coach for the Green Bay men's soccer program from 1992-95, where the team owned a 40-25-10 record during that time. |
