Women's Golf Wins Second Straight Over Chicago State

GREEN BAY, Wis. - For the second straight day, the Green Bay women's golf team picked up a dual meet victory over Chicago State at The Woods (par 72, 5,830 yards) in Green Bay. The Phoenix had its second consecutive team score of 376, while Chicago State totaled a 426 in extremely windy, cool conditions. With a score of 91, freshman Anne Mandich (De Pere, Wis.) was the top performer for Green Bay for the first time in her career. Mandich tied for second place at the event after finishing just one shot off her career-best mark. Allison Winter (Shawano, Wis.) notched her second straight 92 to place fourth individually. She was followed by Ellyn Hansen (Milton, Wis.), who posted a 94, and Madaline Selig (Green Bay, Wis.). Selig improved her score by 14 strokes from day one, as she carded a 99. Jessica Guzek (De Pere, Wis.) placed eighth with a 107. Green Bay completes its regular season slate April 14-15 at the Loyola Caputo Invitational.
