April 23, 2008
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Green Bay men's golf coach Bill Lindmark announced today the signing of Chad Ebert (Kenosha, Wis./Bradford) and Cam Fuller (Sturgeon Bay, Wis./Sevastopol) to National Letters of Intent. Both student-athletes will be freshmen at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for the fall, 2008. Ebert tied for seventh at the Division I 2007 WIAA State Tournament in the start of a strong 2007 summer. Ebert then went on to take second place at the Mike Bencriscutto Junior Masters Match Play Championship and followed with a seventh place finish at the WSGA Junior Boys Championship at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms. "Chad is immensely talented, and not just in golf," said Lindmark, who also noted that he is a proficient trumpet player. "I am excited for him to be a part of our program." Fuller also competed at the 2007 WIAA State Tournament, where he tied for 11th in the Division 3 bracket as a junior. Over the past two seasons, Fuller was the medalist 15 times for Sevastopol. Fuller also owns the Cherry Hills (Wis.) Golf Club course record of 66 and has qualified for the Wisconsin State Amateur. "Cam is a bright young man that has been playing some excellent golf throughout his high school years," said Lindmark. "I expect him to add much to our team." |
