DETROIT, Mich. - The Green Bay men's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds at the nine-team Titan Invitational Friday.

Travis Meyer leads Green Bay after day one, shooting a six-over 150 to stand alone in ninth place. Meyer shot an even-par 72 in the day's second round for the team's best round of the day.

Brady Mork is tied for 13th overall with an eight-over 152, while Garrett Gosh stands in a tie for 27th with a 12-over 156. Carson Solien (T-33, 158) and Bo Van Handel (T-47, 168) round out Green Bay's squad.

Green Bay has a fair amount of ground to make up, as the Phoenix is 14 strokes behind Dayton, Cleveland State and Youngstown State, who are all tied for third. The host Titans are just six shots over par through two rounds as a team to lead the nine-team field. Detroit's Mark Sommerfield is five-under 139 to own a six-stroke lead on the field.

The Titan Invitational concludes Saturday with one round of action. Following this weekend's event, the Phoenix will then prepare for the 2008 Horizon League Championship April 28-29.
