BOZEMAN, Mont. - Senior Ashley Pletcher and sophomore Santi Ocariz of the Green Bay Nordic ski team wrapped up the 2008 season Friday with their participation in the classic races of the NCAA Championship, hosted by Montana State University at Bohart Ranch.

Pletcher was the top finisher for the Phoenix on Friday, finishing the 15K women's race in 1:03:59.6 to take 31st place. Colorado's Maria Moe Grevsgaard grabbed her second title of the championship, following up her first-place finish in the freestyle race Wednesday with a time of 55:04.6 on Friday to lead the 39-skier field.

On the men's side, Ocariz finished 37th out of 38 skiers, completing the 20K course in 1:13:08.9. Fellow Central Collegiate Ski Association racer Marius Korthauer of Alaska-Fairbanks claimed the individual title with a time of 1:03:07.6

The 2008 Championship concludes Saturday with the final alpine skiing event. The University of Denver entered Friday's action with a 28.5-point lead over the University of Utah for the team title.
